Paralegal - Litigation - In-house

We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join an in-house legal department to focus on matters relating to litigation, land, compliance and general commercial work.

Our client is a leading Hong Kong headquartered company with a strong market share within their industry.

Description

This role will work in a team under the supervision of a lawyer. The candidate will be required to assist on drafting court documents, attending hearings relating to Small Claims Tribunal and collecting evidence in relation to the cases. In addition to litigation work, the candidate will provide support across land issues, contract review, IP and general compliance.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have around 5 years of relevant work experience, either from a leading law firm (local/international) or an in-house environment. The key skill set to possess is experience in handling litigation matters, ideally exposure to Small Claims Tribunal. Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese) will be essential for the role. This position is best suited to someone who is a team player and enjoys a diverse range of work.
