Part-time (Daytime / Evening) Lecturer / Fieldwork Supervisor (Social Work)

Major Duties :

To perform teaching duties in social work modules, including supervision of students’ projects / fieldwork practicum in social work settings;

To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;

To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials;

To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes; and

To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental / discipline projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions.

Requirements :

A recognised degree in Social Work, preferably with a post-graduate qualification;

Registered under the Social Workers Registration Ordinance Chapter 505 and holding valid practicing certificate;

At least 5 years’ full-time post-degree teaching and/or industry experience in social work practice;

Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese; and

Proven records of supervision experience in social work settings and connection with the industry or professional bodies would be added advantages.

Note s :

Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.
