Pay \: HK$20,159 – HK$25,195 per month
        Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist doctors and nurses in providing care related / patient services and technical support to clinical services including:
1. Measure patient vital signs and other physical parameters including blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, respiration rate, body weight and body height, body mass index, oxygen saturation, urine testing, blood glucose testing, ECG, specimen collection, escorting patient etc. 
2. Assist health care professionals to perform clinical procedures in consultation room.
3. Assist health care professionals to prepare consumables, documents and equipment for patient consultation.
4. Assist in clinic operation, arrange appointments, investigation reports, coordination of patient flow, and handle enquiries
5. Compile statistics and data input for managerial and clinical management purposes. 
6. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the clinic.
7. Check and maintain store, medical consumables and inventory management.
8. Perform any other related tasks and duties as assigned by supervisors.

Entry Requirements:
1. Completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent (see Remarks). 
2. Completed structured departmental training (see Remarks).
3. Good command of English and Chinese, written and spoken.

Preferred Attributes / Exposure:
1. Possess relevant working experience and/or training in hospital or health care institution.
2. Holding certificate of the Health Care Assistant Course / Care-related Support Worker Course (see Remarks). 
3. Enthusiasm in teamwork approach and task orientated with a strong sense of responsibility.
4. Interested in serving in health care field and good communication skills.
5. Knowledge of computer operations including Microsoft Office.

3. Applicants who do not meet entry requirements (2), if find suitable, will be employed to undergo at least 6 months’ structured departmental training. Employment may be terminated if the selected applicant cannot pass the assessment after training.
4. Serving staff who have completed F.3/ S.3 or equivalent and have 2 years’ care related experience within HA may also be considered. Candidates who have completed the JUMP program organized by Hospital Authority are considered to have attained F.3/S.3 level.
5. The service of Queen Elizabeth Hospital will be relocated to the Kai Tak Hospital in phases starting from year 2026.
