Job Description - Pen Test - Senior Analyst/AM/M - Banking & Financial Industries

We are seeking a skilled Information Security / Cybersecurity / Penetration Testing Specialist to strengthen our security posture and protect our systems, networks, and data. This role combines defensive security, vulnerability assessment, and hands-on penetration testing to identify and mitigate cyber risks across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Perform penetration testing (network, web application, API, cloud, and infrastructure) to identify security weaknesses
Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and risk analysis
Analyse findings, prepare clear technical and executive-level reports, and provide remediation recommendations
Support incident response, threat investigation, and post-incident analysis
Implement and monitor security controls, tools, and best practices
Collaborate with IT, development, and risk teams to embed security into system design and SDLC
Stay current with emerging threats, attack techniques, and security technologies
Assist with compliance and security standards

Required Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related discipline
2-6+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or penetration testing
Hands-on experience with penetration testing and security tools (e.g. Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Nmap, Kali Linux)
Ability to clearly communicate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISA
Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Familiarity with scripting or programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
