Job Description - Portfolio Assistant Manager

About Our Client

A top tier Chinese background of Insurance company in Hong Kong.

Job Description

Lead public equity investment for the company
Propose investment ideas mainly from top-down perspective (tactical asset allocation) including regions, style, and factors preferences by gathering economic data and tracking market performances
Achieve investment return KPI mainly through fund of funds investments and mandate management
Select external equity managers, and monitor their performance, style and investment philosophy
Prepare investment reports and presentations, and pitch to senior management
Ad-hoc duties as assigned

The Successful Applicant

At least 6 years relevant experience in equity investment research or investment related duties
University degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, IT or other related disciplines
In-depth equity market knowledge including strategy analysis, ETFs, and single stock analysis
Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to work independently under pressure and time constraints
Fund of funds experience and CFA holder are preferred
Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
