Principal Business Analyst, Execution Services, IT

Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Senior Solution Lead in Execution Services IT, to play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business needs and IT solutions. The incumbent should be confident and with assertive personality, with deep experience in Global equities trading.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Set the strategic direction for IT systems and solutions to support business growth, innovation, and operational efficiency

• Oversee enterprise technology portfolios, including financial applications, CRM platforms, AI initiatives, and other critical solutions, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives

• Build strong partnerships with executive stakeholders, department leaders, and external vendors to define priorities, develop business cases, and secure buy-in

• Define governance frameworks for projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards

• Monitor and review project delivery at a portfolio level, intervening decisively to address risks and remove roadblocks

• Establish standards for CI/CD and DevOps processes, ensuring they scale across multiple product lines

• Sponsor and guide enhancement projects, maintenance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Ensure organizational readiness for technology rollouts through oversight of training strategies, change management plans, and stakeholder communications

• Represent the technology function in senior leadership meetings and external forums
   

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field

• 15 years of relevant experiece, proven track record in defining technology strategy and delivering large‑scale programmes with significant business impact

• Strong business acumen and ability to translate organizational objectives into actionable technolog roadmaps

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills at executive level

• Demonstrated experience with enterprise architecture, CI/CD frameworks, CRM platforms, and AI initiatives (oversight level)

• Ability to lead diverse technical teams, set performance standards, and foster innovation

• Familiarity with relevant programming and database technologies (Java, SQL, Linux) sufficient to guide

• Proficient in English and Chinese, Mandarin and willingness to travel to Shenzhen occasionally will be advantageous.
