Job Description - Principal Consultant, Technical Risk (Offshore Oil & Gas)

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Process Safety Specialist to lead our workshop facilitation projects and drive business growth in Process Safety, Risk, and Asset Integrity / Reliability Engineering. As a trusted expert in your field, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping clients optimize their processes, manage risks cost-effectively and ensure safety.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and AMS workshops for process plants in oil and gas (including offshore, refinery, chemicals, and petrochemicals), Renewal Energy Sector (hydrogen, windfarm, etc.), and Long Pipeline/LNG plants
Provide technical expertise in Process Safety to clients, leveraging your strong background in process design and/or operating experience
Grow our business by developing new relationships and opportunities for our market
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for clients
Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives

Ideal Candidate:

Holds a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Has 10 years and more of experience in process design and/or operating experience providing technical expertise in Process Safety within the upstream / offshore oil & gas sector
Possesses strong facilitation skills, with the ability to channel discussion towards consensus
Is energetic, motivated, and comfortable traveling regularly for client meetings
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adaptable to changing priorities
