Private Credit / Private Loans Fund Accounting Senior Associate Big 4 Background Preferred

You will join a well established private credit platform as a core member of the fund operations team, supporting a range of credit strategies. This role offers broad exposure across fund accounting, valuation, and investor servicing, with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as the platform continues to scale.

You will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, supporting investment activity, and working closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Take ownership of daily NAV, valuation, accounting, and reporting activities.
2. Maintain accurate accounting records for funds and underlying investments, including loan-level tracking and performance analysis.
3. Coordinate the preparation and review of financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and reporting obligations, working closely with auditors, tax advisors, and administrators.
5. Support investor servicing activities, including handling investor queries, subscription/redemption processes, and responding to ad hoc information requests.
6. Partner with investment, treasury, and operations teams on deal execution, capital activity, and cash management.
7. Manage relationships with external service providers, custodians, and banking partners, ensuring smooth delivery of services.
8. Contribute to process enhancements, system upgrades, and operational improvements, including interpreting and implementing new regulatory or reporting requirements.

Qualifications

1. 3+ years of Big 4 audit/assurance experience with exposure to private markets preferred.
2. Proactive, adaptable, and motivated to build a long-term career within a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
3. Qualified accountant (HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
4. Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across stakeholders.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
7. Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with data tools, VBA, or systems is a plus.
8. Fluency in English and Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
