Procurement Sourcing

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Procurement Sourcing. This role will execute sourcing projects to deliver defined country annual savings targets. These projects will delivery competitive advantage for the HSBC business through cost savings, lifecycle value generation, demand management and innovation.

In this role, you will:

• Work with business supplier managers and the local supply base making sure opportunities align with category strategies at all times
• Work across a variety of categories, demonstrating a broad range of category knowledge
• Work with a variety of stakeholders and business partners requiring proactive engagement and fostering of existing and new relationships
• Proactively seeking new opportunities across HSBC HK businesses and delivering opportunities using best in class procurement services

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar procurement/ buyer role with the ability to work in a targeted environment against a sourcing process
• Experience within multiple different indirect and direct spend categories would be an advantage
• Good self-motivation and drive with the eagerness to get involved in projects
• Proven experience of working closely with business stakeholders
• Fluent in both written and verbal English essential
• Fluent in both written and verbal Chinese an advantage
• A member of CIPS, ISM and/ or IPS would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Procurement software such as IBM Emptoris, Coupa and/ or RSA Archer would be an advantage
