Job Description - Product Development Senior Manager, Insurance

Your new company
A well-established life insurance company is seeking a Product Development Senior Manager (Non-ILAS product).

Your new role

Lead the Non-ILAS product portfolio, defining product strategies, shaping new product concepts, and enhancing existing propositions to strengthen market competitiveness.
Drive product ideation and validation, conducting customer and frontline research to gather insights and test new product concepts.
Oversee end-to-end product development and launches, ensuring timely delivery, strong market alignment, and high product quality.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-including Actuarial, Operations, Marketing, Distribution, Reinsurers, and Group Office-to execute product plans effectively.
Support multi-channel distribution (Agency, Bancassurance, Brokers, Partnerships) through product initiatives, training, and front-line engagement to enhance sales effectiveness.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, internal governance standards, and group policies throughout the product lifecycle.
Conduct post-launch performance reviews and lead continuous improvement initiatives, while providing coaching and guidance to team members to foster a high-performance culture.

What you'll need to succeed

University graduate with 7-10 years of life insurance experience, preferably in product development, product strategy, or related functions.
Strong technical understanding of life insurance products, with hands-on experience in Non-ILAS products; exposure to ILAS is an advantage.
Proven track record in product development, product enhancement, or product planning, with the ability to drive initiatives independently.
Solid analytical capability, including experience in business planning, market analysis, or cross-functional project management.
Demonstrated experience collaborating with multi-channel distribution, such as Agency, Bancassurance, Brokers, or Partnerships.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate across functions.
Leadership readiness, including experience in coaching or supervising team members and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
