About the Role
Play a pivotal role in driving the strategic design and defining the product development strategy for new and existing insurance products, aligning with the company's vision, growth objectives, customer needs and channel priorities.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Development
Contribute to define the product strategies and actively explore new product ideas for the relevant wealth product lines to support multi-channels distribution
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, customer insights and data analytics to identify innovation opportunities
Work with channels and other stakeholders to develop product roadmaps and innovation pipelines in order to meet the business goals Prepare the product concepts and business cases for senior management approval
Project Management
Drive product development projects with clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of product initiatives
Stakeholder Engagement
As a product ambassador, conduct district visits to frontline for new product initiatives to facilitate the understanding of product proposition, key selling edges and new product concept
Build strong relationships with distribution channels to ensure product-market-fit
Performance Monitoring and Optimization
Track product performance, analyze customer feedback, and use data-driven insights to make product adjustments and improve profitability
Others
Support campaign team to design and implement compelling offers for new and existing insurance products
Contribute to the ad-hoc projects and other duties as required
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field
Minimum 8 years of working experience in the insurance industry in Hong Kong (candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager level)
Insurance product development or innovation is preferrable
All rounded experience in the areas of business development, strategic planning and project management
Experience at regional office and re-insurer is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure and solve ambiguous problems, as well as translate complex data into actionable insights
Collaborative mindset with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams and functions
Good communication and presentation skills
