Job Description - Product Owner/ Business Analyst - Workforce Management

Role Overview

Are you an experienced Product Owner/ BA with a deep understanding of Workforce Management (WFM) systems? We are seeking a high-caliber Product Owner for RTA systems to drive the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of our workforce management solutions.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between business operations, IT, and external vendors. You will own the full product lifecycle-from requirements gathering to post-launch optimization-ensuring our solutions enhance operational efficiency, eliminate manual processes, and align with regulatory compliance.



Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements & Backlog Management: Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements across diverse sectors (Hospitality, Retail, and Customer Service). Translate them into functional specifications and maintain a structured product backlog.

  • Solution & Vendor Management: Collaborate with IT and vendors to evaluate technical designs, ensuring system capabilities perfectly align with business operational needs.

  • UAT & Quality Assurance: Define and execute comprehensive UAT strategies, test cases, and scenarios, while actively managing defect resolution.

  • Process Optimization: Identify manual bottlenecks, lead process re-engineering initiatives, and deliver scalable automated reporting solutions to drive data-led operational decisions.

  • Stakeholder & Change Management: Facilitate workshops and governance forums to drive alignment across business units and IT leadership. Support implementation readiness, training, and user adoption.



Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or project delivery.

    • Hands-on experience with rostering and time & attendance (RTA) systems.

    • Proven track record of managing the full product lifecycle and leading cross-functional teams.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in workforce management systems, requirements documentation, and backlog management tools.

    • Strong background in UAT design, execution, and defect tracking.

    • Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., MS Visio) and data analysis/reporting.
