Programme Director - Insurance Infrastructure Migration

Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential (Cantonese is a plus), along with proven experience in delivering policy administration system overhauls, infrastructure migrations, and other business-critical transformation projects.

• Programme Leadership: Drive the end-to-end delivery of large-scale transformation programmes, from business case development through Proof of Concept (PoC) and full implementation, ensuring alignment with global and regional business priorities.
• Strategic Deliverables: Take ownership of policy administration system migration projects and other pivotal programmes aligned with the operational transformation roadmap.
• Vendor Management: Leverage deep knowledge of Chinese tech vendors to evaluate, engage, and drive high-quality delivery of solutions in the Hong Kong market.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted leader to the C-suite and senior stakeholders, providing strategic counsel and ensuring alignment between technical delivery and business objectives at the regional and global level.
• Governance and Results: Establish and enforce governance structures to track project milestones, budgets, and risks while delivering quality outcomes within agreed timeframes.
• Regional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships across international and regional teams, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.

• Proven experience delivering large, complex regional programmes for mainland Chinese insurance companies or clients.
• A track record of success managing policy administration systems, infrastructure migration, and other high-impact digital or operational transformation programmes.
• Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-suite executives confidently.
• Expertise in working with Chinese software vendors in the Hong Kong and regional context.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English; Cantonese is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-pressure environments, managing multiple priorities with a results-driven, collaborative approach.
