Project Engineer (Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical)

Our client is a well-established engineering contractor company. It is now looking for high caliber candidate to support its ever expanding operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead moderately complex and/or multiple smaller scale projects.
• Work under the direction of the Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager directly on projects.
• Interface and lead coordination with all disciplines during the design/coordination phases.
• Interface with the client on issues related to building services.
• Direct and perform engineering on projects: maintain work plan and monitor progress of construction, execute design and drafting from schematics.
• Write work plans and review weekly to confirm schedule alignment.
• Produce field site visit reports.
• Mentor junior staff assigned to your projects.
• Manage time to coordinate.

Requirements:

• The candidate must possess advanced communication, both verbal and written, organizational and interpersonal skills. Additional requirements include:
• Higher Certificate/Diploma or above in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Building Services Engineering or related disciplines.
• 4 to 10 years' experience to join our interdisciplinary project teams, and to contribute to the design of building services installation for our clients
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/BIM and Microsoft Office.
• Well-developed analysis and engineering evaluation skills.
• Strong working knowledge of building and infrastructure systems, standards and building safety codes.
• Develop knowledge of contractual and liability issues.
• Develop knowledge of construction and administration process and procedural knowledge.
• High level of responsiveness and collaboration with contractors and clients.
• Develop work planning, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced professional judgment.
