Project Manager - APAC Government Regulatory Body

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the project manager for the re-platforming of the core banking supervision system, adopting an IT product owner mindset.
• Oversee the complete project delivery life cycle, ensuring timely monitoring and reporting of progress.
• Identify potential risks and challenges, implementing strategies to mitigate them.
• Maintain thorough product documentation and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
• Manage project budgets to uphold financial accountability.
• Clearly articulate project interdependencies and optimize resource allocation to sustain momentum toward business objectives.
• Coordinate change management processes and implement operational policies to support end users.
• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Oversee the release strategy and ongoing operational management, including product performance.
• Mentor and guide program and project team members on industry best practices.
• Promote digital innovation and assist users in navigating digital technologies throughout the project life cycle, identifying opportunities for enhancement.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project and product management, preferably within finance or regulatory technology.
• Strong understanding of program development life cycles and stakeholder management.
• Experience with enterprise-scale technology or regulatory platforms is a plus.
• Ability to translate business requirements into product features effectively.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Proficient in both English and Chinese.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA, or Tableau) is advantageous.
