Python Developer Hedge fund

My client is a global leading hedge fund with office in Hong Kong. They are seeking to hire a Python Developer to join their team in Hong Kong.

Being part of the team, you will work on software projects with a focus on trade analytics and position monitoring tools development, which potentially will be rolled out globally.

This is a front office facing role, as such, good communication skill and previous business domain experience is needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with trading desk, quants and other IT team to work on technical solutions delivery
2. Develop enhancements and/or build new solutions for trade analytics and position monitoring
3. Define development/project plans with key milestones in line with strategy and own the full delivery.
4. Working with the team in developing the strategic core infrastructure
5. Stakeholder management

Requirement

1. Solid development experience in python
2. Good business knowledge on Financial derivatives products, particularly foreign-exchange and interest-rate derivatives.
3. Web based front end development experience is a big plus (such as ReachJS, Electron Library and Websockets)
4. Trading desk development experience is an advantage
5. Excellent communication skills in English
