Python Engineer

Job Description

• Enhance or automate trading operation systems and workflows to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
• Take ownership of major operational issues by identifying root causes and resolving problems promptly.
• Work closely with Operations and Development teams to diagnose and resolve complex live production issues.
• Collaborate with vendors and Operations to design, integrate, and operationalize backend workflows enabling onboarding new products and business initiatives.
• Automate manual processes by developing practical, maintainable scripts and tools.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and workflows.
• Provide occasional after-hours support and participate in testing activities when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 3-8 years of experience in trading support or a similar technical role.
• Strong technical expertise in Linux environments and Python.
• Proven track record of driving operational improvements and delivering results as part of a team.
• Clear and effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced trading environment.
• A practical mindset with a passion for building simple, scalable automation solutions.
