Python Engineer - Risk Technology

We're looking for a Python Engineer to join a Risk Technology team within a leading financial institution, building applications and data services supporting risk analytics, financial reporting and financial workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable Python applications, REST APIs and microservices
• Build data-processing solutions for financial and risk analytics
• Work with SQL, Kafka, Airflow/Flink and modern data platforms
• Integrate with enterprise systems, trading platforms and market data
• Collaborate with Risk, Treasury, Product Control and Execution teams
• Participate in code reviews, testing, CI/CD and production support

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience
• Strong Python development skills
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices and SQL
• Exposure to Kafka, Airflow, Flink or similar technologies
• Experience with financial data, analytics or data platforms
• Financial services experience is highly preferred
• Exposure to React/TypeScript is a plus
