Job Description - QA Tester (Banking) - 1-year contract

Requirements

2-3 years of experience in Business Analysis (BA), Quality Assurance (QA), or Delivery Management roles within the Financial Institutions / Banking system domain.
Proven exposure to banking or financial services platforms, preferably in a regulated environment.
Hands-on experience with Digital Banking platforms, investment/remittance domain, ATM/Branch Operations etc.
Understanding of end-to-end digital banking workflows and customer journeys is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ability to design clear, comprehensive, and efficient test cases based on system requirements, functional specifications, and business needs.
Experience in executing test cases, validating system functionality, and ensuring banking applications meet specified requirements.
Proficient in raising, tracking, and managing defects using defect management tools.
Coordinate closely with development and technical teams to ensure timely defect resolution and retesting.
Ability to identify critical system or project issues, assess impact, and escalate appropriately to ensure swift resolution with minimal project disruption.
Regularly monitor and manage testing and project status, highlighting risks, dependencies, and issues.
Provide timely and accurate status updates to stakeholders and project teams.
Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, both written and spoken.

Preferred Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.
Experience in System Integration Testing (SIT) within a banking or financial services environment.
