Quality Assurance Manager

• Act as the Quality Representative for the project and liaise with any internal and external parties on quality system or quality issues;
• Prepare and/or review the Quality Plan / Project Management Manual for the project;
• Co-ordinate with other project team members to establish and prepare project document control / quality related procedures;
• Assist the Project Manager to establish and maintain the project quality management system and monitor implementation including performance against quality objectives set;
• Review subcontractors' quality plan(s) and related procedures;
• Co-ordinate with other project team members or subcontractors to prepare Inspection & Test Plans;
• Conduct internal (project) audits and second party audits on subcontractors and carry out follow-up to ensure that suitable improvement actions are taken;
• Carry out checks to verify the management system is being followed and that the quality of works and materials is in accordance with the contract requirements;
• Handle external audits including those conducted by the Client and conduct follow-up to ensure that suitable actions are taken to address the findings raised;
• Review and monitor the status of non-conformances, recommend corrective actions and verify that the required actions have been taken and are effective;
• Assist to review technical submissions if required, and;
• Assist the Project Manager to run the major routine meetings with the Clients/RSS and internal parties.

• Degree in Engineering or relevant subjects;
• At least 10 years' relevant site experience;
• Experience in conducting quality audits and surveillances;
• Experience in large-scale construction projects is an asset;
• Good command of English and Chinese;
• Independent, responsible and self-motivated.
