Relationship Manager (Japanese speaker)

On behalf of an international commercial bank we are seeking a fluent (first language) Japanese speaker with some experience of banking / financial services, preferably commercial / corporate banking.

Salary: HKD 35,000 to 50,000 per month depending upon experience.

Role:

• With a specific focus on Japanese corporates you will actively develop new business opportunities, marketing and selling corporate banking services to potential clients.
• Evaluate market opportunities for Japanese corporations expanding into South Asia.
• Manage client on-boarding processes in alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Work with RMs to onboard new clients and to build relationships.
• Travel with RMs to Japan to meet with clients face to face and pitch / sell bank products including trade finance, cash management and corporate lending facilities.

Requirements:

• 2-7 years experience in banking / financial services.
• Fluent (first language) Japanese and fluent Englsih.
• Excellent communications skills and ability to interact with clients up to C-suite level.
• Bachelor’s degree, or above, in business, finance or related discipline(s).
