Job Description - Relationship Manager, Middle Market (Licensed)

Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of middle market and institutional banking clients, providing comprehensive financial solutions and advisory services to meet their evolving business needs
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to deepen client relationships and expand the bank's market share
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product specialists and credit analysts, to deliver tailored financial products and services
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and client feedback to anticipate and address their changing requirements
  • Ensure compliance with the bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
  • Contribute to the team's overall performance and business objectives by meeting or exceeding assigned targets and KPIs
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate or commercial banking, with a proven track record of managing a diverse portfolio of middle market and institutional clients
  • Strong understanding of the financial needs and challenges faced by middle market and institutional clients, and the ability to provide customized solutions
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess client needs, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategic plans
  • Proficient in the use of financial analysis tools and data management systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the organization
