Job Description - Research Associate - Financial Services Provider

Your new company
A global professional services organization that delivers high-value business information and research to leading financial institutions and corporations worldwide is seeking a research associate.

Your new role

Supporting complex research requests across multiple sectors and geographies.
Producing concise, well-articulated research deliverables for demanding clients.
Conducting corporate, industry, economic, and emerging-topic research using multilingual sources.
Leveraging premium research tools and databases efficiently while meeting tight deadlines.
Contributing to broader team initiatives such as knowledge sharing, training, and process improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

A minimum of three years' experience in a research role, preferably within banking or financial services.
A strong track record of delivering high-quality business and investment-banking-focused research.
Hands-on expertise with leading research platforms including LSEG, Dealogic, WIND, ISI, and Factiva, alongside strong Excel capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
Fluency in English and Chinese.
A solid bachelor's degree or equivalent; qualifications in information or research-related disciplines are an advantage.
Good awareness of China-focused research resources, key government bodies, and industry associations.
Confidence in leveraging AI and LLM-powered research tools to enhance efficiency and insight.
Sound judgement in evaluating data accuracy, source credibility, and information reliability.
