Responsible Officer (Type 4 & 9)

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage collective investment schemes, discretionary accounts, and segregated mandates.
2. Develop and implement investment strategies aligned with fund objectives and client mandates.
3. Adhere to the SFC Code of Conduct and Fund Manager Code of Conduct.
4. Exercise strategic accountability for the licensed corporation’s operations.
5. Assist Senior Management to oversee Managers‑In‑Charge (MICs) across Compliance, Risk, Operations, Finance, and Portfolio Management.
6. Ensure compliance, risk, and fund management issues are escalated to senior management and documented.
7. Promote a culture of compliance, ethical standards, and investor protection across advisory and discretionary services.

Key Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline.
2. Holder of relevant SFC licenses (Type 4 and Type 9).
3. Minimum 3 years’ rep experience in fund management, discretionary portfolio services, or investment advisory.
4. Strong knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory framework and SFC Code of Conduct.
5. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
6. Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
7. High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to investor protection.
8. Native Mandarin + fluent English & Cantonese.
