Retail Director

Job description

Duties:

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for the retail division

• Develop and implement comprehensive retail strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share

• Oversee the planning, execution, and performance management of all retail stores

• Develop and lead high-performing retail teams, fostering a culture of sales excellence and customer service

• Analyze sales data, customer insights, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities

• Optimize store layouts, product assortments, and visual merchandising to enhance the customer experience

• Collaborate with internal teams for inventory, procurement, and supply chain processes to ensure product availability

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated promotional campaigns

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies

• Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to inform strategic decisions

• Prepare and manage retail budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting

• Identify and evaluate new market expansion opportunities

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in retail management

• Proven track record of driving sales growth, operational efficiency, and profitability

• Excellent leadership, people management, and team-building skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

• Strategic thinker with high business acumen, willing to change, pursuing excellence.

• Hands-on experience in inventory management, supply chain optimization, and financial management

• Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field

• Good command of English and Cantonese and Mandarin
