Risk Officer / Manager (Hedge Fund)

Responsibilities:

• Oversight & Evolution: Lead risk control functions and maintain a robust risk management framework (including systems, controls, and processes) in strict accordance with the firm's Risk Management Policy.
• Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement enhancements to the framework to support business needs and meet or exceed changing regulatory standards.
• Trade Surveillance: Perform daily trade monitoring of investment risk limits
• System Implementation: Review and configure investment risk limits within the Order Management System / Portfolio Management System
• Workflow Management: Responsible for managing the resources of the risk management team by organizing workflow and prioritising issues
• Regulatory Reporting: Handle short selling and other investment-related regulatory reporting required for specific fund strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holder
• Relevant experience with financial institutions obtained in the area of risk management, risk control
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Adobe PDF
• Good communication skills both written and verbal (Cantonese, Mandarin and English)
• Proactive, reliable and self-motivated.
