The Role & Landscape: This is a unique, high-impact hybrid position that seamlessly blends Site Reliability Engineering with advanced Python Development within a mission-critical Risk and PnL technology team.

1. Engineering & Automation: Architect and develop robust automated tools to investigate and capture data quality problems using advanced object-oriented Python.
2. UI Development: Build and enhance sleek, functional user interfaces using modern Python frameworks like Plotly Dash and Streamlit.
3. Cloud Infrastructure: Manage, support, and scale the Risk and PnL application infrastructure, taking heavy ownership of AWS EKS environments.
4. System Reliability: Troubleshoot complex system anomalies, build CI/CD pipelines, and monitor performance to ensure zero-downtime operations.
5. Cross-Functional Impact: Liaise directly with traders, quantitative researchers, and external infrastructure teams to optimize system reliability and business outcomes.

What We Are Looking For:

1. 3 to 9 years of professional software development or SRE experience.
2. Solid domain knowledge in Risk and PnL systems within a financial services context.
3. Advanced proficiency in Python, specifically with strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and extensive use of Pandas DataFrames.
4. Hands-on experience developing UIs with Plotly Dash, Streamlit, or similar Python frameworks.
5. Solid foundational knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS strongly preferred) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS, Docker).
6. Experience with REST APIs, SQL Server, and monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, InfluxDB).
7. A pragmatic, commercially-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
