Responsibilities:

• Assist Director of Sales – MICE in driving revenue from events (including MICE related events and catering)
• Work closely with Event Planning Team and other internal teams to ensure the smoothness of all events and maximize client satisfaction
• Represent the hotel in different sales activities and industry events, whenever required
• Responsible for the design and execution of sales plan
• Responsible for collecting market intelligence, analyze and prepare reports
• Explore new business opportunities and maintain excellent relationship with key clients and industry partners
• Maintain intelligent client database and be able to make the best use of database to achieve targets
• Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel in target markets through the best channels
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor holder or above in Business Management, Hospitality Management or relevant discipline
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the MICE & Catering industry, preferably in reputable hotels or convention centres
• Proficient is computer skills and MS applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in both spoken and written Chinese and English
• Excellent sales-driven initiatives with good cost controlling, pricing strategy, communication and interpersonal skills
• Mature, dynamic, well organized and a good planner with strong business acumen
• Have broad network with MICE & Catering clients and industry partners
• Have experience in pre-opening hotel/catering venues projects will be an advantage
• Less experienced candidate will be considered as Assistant Sales Manager – MICE
