Sales Support Officer

Job Responsibilities

1. Report to the Head of Products, Sales and Marketing
2. Assist sales managers to develop relationships with key clients and our target client base in order to understand the clients’ investment direction, providing advice and solutions to clients leveraging sales resources and products
3. Assist the sales team on the implementation of strategic sales and marketing plans in order to expand our business in HK/China over the long term
4. Identify potential cross selling opportunities and to work closely with the sales managers
5. Assist to complete Request for Proposal in responses with the relevant teams and prepare presentation pitch books by working closely with the internal teams (e.g. portfolio management team, product management team, client services team, etc.)
6. Other sales related tasks assigned by sales manager.

Job Requirements

1. Good knowledge and passion for the asset management business and capital markets. Postgraduate degree in business or finance related studies
2. 2+ years of experience acting as sales support in Institutional/Channel Sales needed
3. Exceptional attention to detail, and ability to drive tasks to completion in a highly organized manner
4. Fast learner who is able handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
5. Outstanding team player with strong interpersonal skills, ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues, and collaborate well with others
6. Strong work ethic, highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills in Mandarin. Fluency in English and Cantonese are also required
8. Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
