Senior Accountant (5-DAY WORK WEEK)

Responsibilities:

 

• Supervise staff in finance department to prepare monthly management accounts and submit reports on schedule
• Oversee the timely and accurate processing of payments
• Oversee accounting function for a group of companies and ensure statutory compliance in all perspectives
• Provide support on annual budget, periodical forecast, cashflow projection in accordance with management assumptions and commercial data
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure a smooth flow of audit process
• Other ad hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:

 

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline
• Qualified member of HKICPA/ACCA or related professional qualifications
• At least 8 years of relevant experience from both commercial companies and professional audit firms 
• Solid experience in managing a small team in handling financial statements close process, financial analysis and reporting, and tax compliance matters
• Experience in E-commerce and Chain Store companies is an advantage
• Experience in consumer electronics industry or in joint ventures is an advantage
• Familiar with accounting / ERP system(s)
• Detail-minded, independent, energetic, decisive, able to work under pressure
• High proficiency in accounting technical, taxation, and Companies Ordinance knowledge
• Proficient in MS applications, especially in MS Excel
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
• More experience will be considered as Finance Manager
