About the Role

As a member of the Hong Kong Carrier Finance team, you support the preparation and reporting of the quarterly and annual regulatory reporting to the insurance supervisor in accordance with the regulatory requirements in Hong Kong. You also provide financial analysis and business commentaries with respect to accounting, reporting, monitoring and reconciliation activities.

This is an 18 month contract role and you will support Swiss Re International SE BAU reporting and run-off activities by providing timely financial information, supporting portfolio monitoring, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.

About the Team

The Hong Kong team works closely with other finance teams locally and regionally. This team reports to the Head of Accounting & Report Asia and maintains strong links to counterpart teams Asia and global teams mainly located in Zurich. Interactions with teams spread across regions are frequent, making the ability to collaborate remotely an important skill for this position

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly and annual regulatory returns
- Support run-off portfolio reporting, monitoring and analysis
- Prepare data for internal and external reporting
- Support intercompany processes and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements
- Support audit activities and documentation
- Participate in finance transformation projects
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required

About You

- At least five years of work experience, preferably in insurance/reinsurance
- Exposure to IT accounting, finance systems or transformation projects is a plus
- Certified accountant or similar qualification
- Knowledge of Hong Kong insurance regulations and statutory reporting
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Good command of English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Run-off experience is an advantage

The base salary range for this position will be shared with you during the interview process
