Senior AI Enablement Consultant - FS MNC

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Enablement Consultant to support the establishment of a practical regional AI enablement capability for the Asia Regional Office and selected Asian business units. This is a high-impact, hands-on 12-month contract role focused on strategy, solution delivery, capability building, and driving measurable value through AI and GenAI initiatives.

The consultant will act as a key enabler - defining the roadmap, delivering priority use cases, building reusable assets, and uplifting internal capabilities across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Define AI/GenAI requirements and roadmap across key functions (Procurement, HR, Finance, Technology, and others).
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, championing their adoption.
• Design and deliver technical workshops and training on GenAI, prompt engineering, and agentic AI.

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/GenAI and advanced analytics use cases.
• Establish a regional AI hub/marketplace for easy access to tools and solutions.
• Develop an agentic AI framework including guardrails, evaluation mechanisms, reference architectures, templates, and reusable tools.
• Equip technical teams with modern tools, platforms, reference architectures, and best practices.

• Provide hands-on mentorship and technical guidance to data science teams across Asian markets.
• Assess and uplift data science maturity, identifying gaps and recommending actions.
• Support local teams in delivering AI/GenAI use cases and achieving measurable business outcomes.
• Package and enable reusable solutions for rapid adoption across markets with minimal customization.
• Contribute to AI platform and MLOps architecture where required (model development, deployment, monitoring).

Candidate Requirements

Experience & Background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
• Ideally, experience within insurance or financial services.
• Proven track record delivering AI solutions in complex, multi-country environments.

Technical Expertise (Mandatory)

• Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, including prompt engineering and understanding of LLM limitations & mitigations (grounding, citations, refusal, human review).
• Mandatory: Practical experience building Agentic AI workflows with orchestration and tool integration.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern ML frameworks.
• Experience with GenAI-enabled software engineering to boost developer productivity.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud AI platforms (Azure AI Foundry, AWS SageMaker/Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI, or Databricks).

Additional Requirements

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills - able to work with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
• Experience operating across multiple countries and cultures in Asia.
• Fluency in English (additional Asian languages are a plus).
