Job Description - Senior Analyst, Liquidity & Transaction Reporting

A leading international bank in Hong Kong is hiring for a key role in its operations team, focusing on liquidity management and regulatory transaction reporting across Asia and globally.

Core Responsibilities:

Handle trade repository (TR) reporting, reconciliations, break investigations, and follow-ups with counterparties in Hong Kong and other regions.
Perform Nostro account monitoring, projections, and forecasting; prepare and distribute balance forecasts to Treasury Front Office teams.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies or anomalies in Nostro and related processes.
Monitor and prioritize local RTGS payments to meet internal liquidity needs and external regulatory standards.
Consolidate regional data for reporting to local sites and head office.
Execute secondary processing, problem resolution, invoicing reconciliation/settlement, and daily statement integration into reconciliation tools.
Coordinate ad hoc activities related to Nostro account management.
Support BAU operations, system enhancements, UAT testing, procedure updates, and operational risk management (including escalation duties).

What We Look For:

University degree.
Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on back office or middle office experience in banking; preference for exposure to fixed income, capital markets, or treasury products.
Strong understanding of financial products, banking operations, and trade repository requirements (especially HK & SG regulations).
Alertness, urgency, and ability to perform effectively under pressure.
Solid problem-solving skills and risk awareness (particularly operational risk).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging internal teams (Front/Middle/Back Office, Finance, Risk, Compliance, IT) and external parties (clients, auditors, regulators).
Good command of English; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with systems such as SWIFT, eMBT, or similar transaction/treasury platforms is advantageous.
Knowledge of products like treasury, derivatives, or fixed income is a plus.
