Senior Associate/ Associate - Client Onboarding - Global Corporate & Private Bank

Responsibilities

1. Work with Front Office staff to handle corporate banking clients account opening & on-boarding operation
2. Collaborate with front-line staff to gather information to fulfill the initial check requirements
3. Assist on handling corporate & commercial banking client inquiries on account opening related issue
4. Follow up & monitor the end-to-end on boarding process of client & products and keep relevant parties informed about the status (i.e. Front Office, CDD, compliance, operation, etc)
5. Perform KYC assessment through CDD review, negative news review & sanction name screening on current & new commercial & corporate banking client’s portfolio
6. Coordinate with internal stakeholder to identify issues on account opening process & escalate any major issues
7. Monitor & understand client’s feedback on online account opening system to implement necessary rectification
8. Provide suggestion on enhancing service quality
9. Handle other ad hoc tasks & participate in IT projects as required

Requirements

1. Diploma or above
2. 3 years of banking & financial services experience in client on boarding/ KYC/ account opening
3. Client Onboarding operation experience on private & corporate banking client portfolio would be highly preferable
4. Good communication skills with strong customer service mindset
5. Prior account opening/ operation experience would be an advantage
