Responsibilities

• Dealing duties for daily investment products dealing on Equities, and if necessary, including Fixed Income, Structured Products and SIP.
• Check and reconcile daily dealing transactions
• Perform best execution dealing, monitoring and reporting
• Ensure practices abide by internal guidelines and external regulations
• Effectively communicate with dealing team stakeholders (i.e. among dealing team members, frontlines and back offices) during the whole dealing process
• Associate and prepare investment products reports

Accountabilities

• Quality execution for daily investment products dealing including Equities, Fixed Income, Structured Products and SIP.
• To provide pricing and execution services on investment products (i.e. structured products and fixed income to customers
• Smooth and timely execution of product launches compliant with internal standards and external regulatory requirements
• Reconciliation of daily trade blotters with counterparties and operations
• Acknowledge of global investment environment and engage in development of investment products
• Ensure own self compliance with departmental and organization standard
• For the staff who are registered RIs may from time to time be required to take up a sales relief function, including when there is a shortage of available RI staff

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience in banking, preferably related to dealing services on Equity
• Master/University degree in Finance/Economics/ Business Administration preferred
• Must be registered RI [Regulated Activities: Type 1 & 4] with passes in HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7 & 8; or equivalent
• High degree of accuracy and precision
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong analytical, interpersonal skills and good verbal communication
• Good knowledge of investment market and product
