About us

Locally established in 2014, DS Groceries strives to offer an enjoyable shopping experience for customers and neighbours with the highest quality goods and friendliest service possible. We currently has over 70 shops, located among local residential areas and widely spreading over 18 districts in Hong Kong.

We provide a range of products sourced from around the world, including wine, spirits, Chinese delicacies, chocolate and confectioneries, nuts, beverages and general groceries. Frozen and chilled products are also available at selected stores.

Looking ahead, DS Groceries will keep moving with the times and persistently enhance our product portfolio and services.

Qualifications & experience

• High Diploma / Degree holder in business, marketing or related field
• 3+ years relevant buying experience with knowledge in buying and inventory management
• Strong market sense, customer-oriented, eager to learn and adaptable to changes
• Strong business sense, analytical skills, including the ability to interpret multiple data points across numerous channels and market segments
• Able to work in high-pressure and fast-paced environment
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Good presentation, interpersonal, organizing and communication skills

Tasks & responsibilities

• Actively search & source the trendiest products in the market
• Negotiate with suppliers on product costs and promotion offers
• Liaise with vendors on shipment, pricing, purchase ordering issues
• Communicate with stores and monitor inventory levels and sales
• Coordinate with shops and warehouse/logistic for stock replenishment
• Analyze market trend & competitors and make recommendation for improvement
• Work closely with departments on seasonal strategies
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as assigned
