Senior Buying Manager / Buying Manager

Job Responsibilities:

 

• Responsible for managing the whole process of buying activities including buying strategies development, budget planning and liaison with suppliers and brands etc.
• Implementing merchandise selection and assortment
• Formulate the sales forecast, OTB budget and drive the buying activities in accordance with Company’s strategies
• Monitor merchandise flow to achieve sales, profit and inventory target
• Stock Management processes including allocation, replenishment and consolidation
• Maintain constructive relationship with suppliers for business development
• Prepare regular reports to analyze and review sales performance and inventory level
• Analyze market trend and competitors and make recommendation for improvement
• Execute product training to ensure competent product knowledge of frontline staffs

Job Requirements:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion & Textiles or a related field disciplines
• 10 years solid buying experience with at least 3 years of managerial experience gained from fashion retail
• Experienced in mono-brand retailer for Hong Kong and China market is preferred
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Strong sense in fashion trends and market trends
• Excellent analytical, organization and problem-solving skills
• Able to work under pressure and tight schedules
• Self motivated, well organized and strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English & Chinese
• High proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Overseas travel is required
• Less experience will be consider as Buying Manager
• Immediate availability is preferred
