Senior C++ Developer Low Latency Trading Infrastructure

This is not a “C++ application developer” role.

This is about building systems where performance is a competitive advantage.

We’re partnering with several leading trading platforms and financial institutions across APAC that are scaling their low latency C++ teams. These groups build and optimise the infrastructure that sits directly on the critical path to the exchange — market data, order gateways, execution engines, connectivity frameworks.

In these environments, engineering decisions show up in PnL. Latency is measured. Bottlenecks are hunted. Code quality matters.

You’ll be:

• Building and refining ultra-low latency C++ components used in live trading
• Engineering high-throughput, multi-threaded systems under real production pressure
• Optimising exchange connectivity and order flow
• Profiling systems and removing performance constraints
• Working directly with traders and quantitative researchers
• Taking ownership of systems that cannot fail

Some roles focus on traditional asset classes. Others operate in institutional digital asset markets. All sit in high-performance, revenue-critical environments.

We’re looking for engineers who:

• Have 5+ years of modern C++ experience (C++11/14/17/20)
• Care deeply about data structures, memory layout, and concurrency
• Understand Linux at a systems level
• Have optimised real-world, latency-sensitive systems
• Prefer solving hard engineering problems over building UI layers

Strong alignment typically comes from:

• HFT or proprietary trading firms
• Electronic trading platforms
• Market data / exchange connectivity systems
• Prime brokerage trading technology
• Low-level networking or performance-critical distributed systems

Finance experience is valued for several mandates, but exceptional performance engineers from other domains are welcome to explore.
