Job Description - Senior C&B Officer

Prenetics, a leading genomics-driven health sciences company, is revolutionizing prevention, early detection, and treatment. Our prevention arm, CircleDNA, uses whole exome sequencing to offer the world's most comprehensive consumer DNA test. Insighta, our $200 million joint venture with renowned scientist Prof. Dennis Lo, underscores our unwavering commitment to saving lives through pioneering multi-cancer early detection technologies. Insighta plans to introduce Presight for lung and liver cancers in 2025, and to expand with Presight One for 10+ cancers in 2027. 

Lastly, ACT Genomics, our treatment unit, is the first Asia-based company to achieve FDA clearance for comprehensive genomic profiling of solid tumors via ACTOnco.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior C&B Officer to join our People and Culture team. This role will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and managing our compensation and benefits programs. This position requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in compensation and benefits, who can ensure our offerings are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company's objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to design programs that support our employees' well-being and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily HR operations, such as onboarding, offboarding, leave management, work injuries application, etc.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR and management teams on compensation and benefits-related matters.
  • Conduct regular audits of compensation and benefits practices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead the performance review cycle process, including salary adjustments, promotions, and equity reviews.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Process regular payroll to ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll-related regulations, including tax reporting and filing.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate and compliant payroll accounting and reporting.
  • Implement and maintain payroll systems and software to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in compensation and benefits
  • Expertise in payroll management and processes
  • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, best practices, and legal requirements
  • Experience with compensation surveys, job evaluation, and market analysis.
  • Proficient in HRIS and compensation management software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
