Senior Engineer Rail Electrification

Responsibilities:

• Support the Rail Electrification team for various Railway Traction Power Supply, Overhead Line and Digital Solution Projects in Hong Kong

• Lead and review design submission, prepare technical submissions in accordance with the project programme

• Lead internal team and subcontractors to complete and fulfill customer specifications
• Lead design, testing and commissioning activities with customer’s team, suppliers and subcontractors, where appropriate, and deliver result and report for the tasks
• Coordinate with internal support teams such as Quality, Safety, System Assurance, and Commercial

• Support tender activities by outlining technical risk and advise to the bid team
• Coordinate with suppliers and oversea factories for material purchase to secure the material arrival in time
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:
Individuals who meet the following requirements or possess the equivalent combination of competence and experience are invited to apply:

• Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent or above
• At least 5 years’ experience in electrical projects of which 3 years should be in Medium Voltage discipline
• Strong knowledge in HV/MV switchgear, Protection Systems
• Solid site experience and project management exposure ideally gained in Power Utilities / Railway Traction Power field
• Excellent communications skills and definitely a team player
• Well-versed in MS Office applications and AutoCad
• Good command of written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Team player, able to work in complex environment, overtime and under pressure
• Possess of Registered Electrical Workers
