Senior Equity Derivatives Trader

Looking for Senior Equity Derivatives Trader for a leading investment bank in Hong Kong. The position holder would be responsible for cross-border derivatives trading, with underlying assets primarily covering the Hong Kong, U.S., and China mainland markets.

Responsibility:

(1) Manage trading books, generate revenue for respective businesses, and control risks;

(2) Collaborate closely with sales, product, and other teams within the equity and equity derivatives business;

(3) Build and maintain key relationships, submit trades to the trading desk, and anticipate client demand for each product/market;

(4) Work closely with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure;

(5) Engage in infrastructure improvement and project work, with strong involvement in the development of OMS and algorithmic trading systems to enhance electronic trading capabilities;

(6) Appropriately assess risks when making business decisions.

Job Requirements:

(1) Master’s degree in Financial Technology, Financial Engineering, Mathematical Statistics, Economics and Management, or a related field;

(2) 5+ years of relevant work experience, with a background in derivatives and options trading.
