Senior Equity Research Analyst - Industrials Sector

You will be a crucial member of the team, leading coverage of the Industrials sector and driving high‑impact equity research insights that support investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle equity research coverage of the Industrials sector, delivering clear, high‑conviction insights to support investment decisions.
• Conduct in‑depth fundamental analysis on listed companies, including business model assessment, financial statement review, and competitive benchmarking.
• Build and maintain robust financial models, including valuation frameworks, scenario analysis, and capital structure reviews.
• Produce high‑quality equity research reports, thematic deep dives, investment theses, earnings previews/reviews, and catalyst‑driven updates.
• Identify sector trends, structural shifts, and emerging opportunities, particularly across automation, robotics, EV value chain, smart manufacturing, and industrial tech.
• Engage directly with company management teams, industry experts, suppliers, and other stakeholders to deepen sector insights.
• Present investment ideas and research findings to internal stakeholders, including portfolio managers and senior leadership.
• Track and analyze industry news, regulatory developments, macro trends, and earnings events that may influence sector performance.
• Collaborate closely with team members across research, portfolio management, and strategy to refine investment theses.
• Uphold strong research governance, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and high analytical standards in all deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of equity research experience, ideally with strong coverage across the Industrials sector (automation, machinery, robotics, EV supply chain, or related areas).
• Proven track record of generating high‑quality investment ideas supported by rigorous fundamental analysis and robust financial modelling.
• Advanced financial modelling skills with strong proficiency in Excel.
• Strong academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline; CFA qualification or progress is a plus.
• Solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English, with the ability to clearly deliver insights and recommendations.
• Strong analytical mindset, capable of interpreting broad industry data and translating it into precise investment logic.
