Senior Finance Manager

Overview:

A well-established global financial services firm is looking to hire a Senior Finance Manager to support its regional finance operations. This position is suited for an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in accounts payable, financial reporting, and audit coordination, ideally gained within asset management or the broader financial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare monthly financial and management reports with accurate and timely analysis.
2. Manage the accounts payable function, including invoice processing, staff expense claims, bank reconciliations, and month/year-end closing activities with appropriate ledger entries.
3. Serve as a control point for AP to ensure payments are processed promptly and in compliance with internal policies.
4. Maintain banking relationships and oversee both domestic and international payment transactions, including currency conversions.
5. Coordinate with the group finance team to ensure reporting standards are met.
6. Assist with internal and external audit processes.
7. Support various ad hoc projects and finance-related initiatives as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 7-10 years’ relevant experience in financial institutions, preferably in asset management, with a focus on accounts payable.
3. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
4. Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and numerical formulas.
5. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
6. Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
