THE POSITION

T. Rowe Price is seeking a Senior Fixed Ie Business Development Sales to help drive the Firm's institutional fixed ie business with a focus in the insurance segment across Greater China. The individual will play a vital role to build and grow fixed ie business, in collaboration with generalist sales or independently, for T. Rowe Price's fixed ie franchise and working alongside Oak Hill Advisors (OHA), a private credit house fully owned by T. Rowe Price Group.

This position offers an entrepreneurial opportunity in working closely with multiple internal teams throughout the value chain across generalist sales, client service, consultant relations, investments,pliance and product. The main responsibility of the role is to establish and maintain direct dialogue with senior investment level of institutional asset owners and allocators, and to create business opportunities in the institutional space, including public, private and financial institutions, with a focus on insurancepanies. The role will report into the Head of Greater China Institutional Business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be responsible for increasing T. Rowe Price's fixed ie and private credit visibility broadly and growing assets under management from all institutions with a focus on the General Account of insurancepanies - Work closely with generalist sales, the primary relationship owner, to identify and cultivate new business prospects, to initiate and follow up on new business opportunities, to lead consultative business meetings and associated solution proposal/preparation, and to close business deal Closely maintain relationship with senior investment and C-suite contacts within insurance sector by offering thought leadership type of perspectives and by going deep in topics/areas that are of interest Effectivelymunicateplex fixed ie investment capabilities and create solution insurance clients in a clear and simple fashion, in both verbal and written form Participate as a speaker in the external forum/seminar to share market dynamic and present possible solution for insurance segment
  • Maintain strong knowledge of T. Rowe Price's investment capabilities and solutions by closely partnering with investment specialist and portfolio manager
  • Provide guidance to internal teams to ensure that the information needs of insurance prospects
  • Help to develop overall Fixed Ie growth strategy in a thoughtful, cohesive, and integrated sales approach for the institutional space, including but not limited toernment entities, corporate and public pension, corporate treasury of private and listedpanies, endowment and foundations etc.
  • Ensure appropriate tracking and documentation of business activity is updated on the Salesforce to capture ongoingmercial intelligence

  • PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (Required):
  • Fifteen (15) + years of fixed ie sales experience with previous investment background in insurance organizations, ideally with extensive and current contacts with senior management at insurancepanies.
  • Demonstrated track record in raising assets from sophisticated institutional and insurance clients
  • Superiormunication and presentation skills in order to effectively position T. Rowe Price to sophisticated insurance clients/prospects.
  • Solid understanding of the capital markets, business environment and restriction in which insurancepanies are operating, local regulation, risk-based capital and asset liability management etc, coupled with themercial acumen and ability to find creative ways to connect with asset owners and allocators to grow assets under management for T. Rowe Price's fixed ie and private credit franchise
  • Strategic oriented with the ability to employ a problem-solving oriented approach in both external and internal interactions
  • Fluent in English and able tomunicate in Chinese, in both verbal and written form
  • Bachelor's Degree. Advanced Degree and/or CFA/CAIA is preferred.
