Position: Senior Hospital Foreman

Pay\: HK$32,140 to HK$37,590 (HGPS Point 12 to 15) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund
by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon
completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist hospital managers to provide business support services and general administration including delivery and monitoring of security & carpark management, cleansing service, waste management, pest control, fire safety, gardening and landscape, portering services, inventory management and occupational safety and health issues.
2. Communicate and coordinate with all service users and service contractors in provision of services and monitor the performance of outsourced service contractors.
3. Prepare and review hospital guidelines, standard of procedures and work instructions.
4. Assist in manpower planning, recruitment, training, supervision and management of supporting staff.
5. Prepare staff duty roster and staff deployment.
6. Assist in complaint / incident investigation, report and carry out the follow-up actions.
7. Perform on-call duties and provide emergency support and stand-by for any emergency duties, during typhoon, rainstorm black warning and adverse weather as when required.
8. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Entry Requirements
1. Serving staff with a minimum of 2 years’ experience at Hospital Foreman level; OR
2. (a) Pass in 5 subjects, including English Language (Syllabus A or B), at Grade E in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent; or
(b) 5 subjects in Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:
(i) Level 1 in English Language, and
(ii) Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects/ “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category)/ Grade E in Other Language subjects, or equivalent; AND
(c) 4 years’ post-qualification experience, 2 years of which at supervisory level.
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills, mature personality and experienced in supervising staff.
Preferred Attributes
1. Possession of working experience in supervisory or management level in supporting service.
2. Good communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills.
3. Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently.
4. Great adaptability / flexibility and able to handle multitasks.
5. Good command of Chinese and English.
6. Good knowledge of computer applications, e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing, etc.
7. Solid experience in handling ad-hoc and emergency duties.
