Job overview and responsibilities
Provides professional, competent and timely response to all inbound calls/emails including but not limited to providing price quotes & firming bookings. Works closely with Cargo Operations for daily flight plan to maximize sales/network potential. Ensures service delivery as committed to while achieving targets by performing outcall programs to fill open capacity. Actively carries out sales & promotional programs as assigned and directed. Manages allotment performance and pricing submission and routine reports generation. When required, attend, and/or plan/coordinate industry and trade organization events/meetings promoting UA visibility while networking with key customers.
The Cargo Senior Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for short-term selling, out calls and supporting customer accounts first and foremost. In addition, the Senior ISR is responsible for maximizing revenue on all flights, including scheduled, ferry & project flights
Assisting APAC Sales Director in coordinating Sales campaigns, events, interline discussions and providing updated reports and analysis to support business plans & development in the region
This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of airline industry
2+ years reservation or equivalent customer interactive experience
Develops plans to meet and exceed account revenue plans (station & sub-region goal); seeks to increase cargo volume and revenue of assigned accounts
Promotes special cargo products
Cultivate SME accounts and prepare them to be assigned to an account executive for long term business development
Utilizes Salesforce.com for sales activities, opportunities and all other associated functionality to improve sales efficiency
Utilizes Sales Strategies tools to devise business plan, such as On the Mark and LF reports
Promotes emerging technology such as booking portals and quote tools improve sales efficiency
Must be legally authorized to work in Hong Kong for any employer without sponsorship
Must be fluent in English and Cantonese (written and spoken)
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
