Senior IT Project Accountant

Our client is a large, highly reputed enterprise organization with a strong footprint within Hong Kong, who are looking for a candidate to join their Finance Team.

They are looking for a high-performer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT project accounting within a large corporate or complex environment.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

1. Manage financial reporting and tracking for large-scale IT projects
2. Partner with IT and project stakeholders to monitor budgets and forecasts
3. Conduct cost analysis and ensure accurate project accounting and allocation
4. Support capitalisation, accruals, and financial governance for IT spend
5. Identify and report project variances, risks, and opportunities
6. Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements

To be eligible for this role you will require:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
2. Qualified accountant (CPA / ACCA or equivalent preferred)
3. Proven experience in IT project accounting or project finance
4. Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls
5. Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
