About the Opportunity

An experienced Java developer is sought for a hands-on engineering role building high-performance, low-latency algorithmic trading platforms across crypto and traditional asset classes, collaborating closely with traders and stakeholders to deliver mission-critical applications.

What You'll Do

1. Design and build low-latency trading systems including EMS, SOR, and algorithmic trading engines
2. Develop routing algorithms based on execution quality, liquidity, and cost
3. Build and maintain automated pricing and trading strategies
4. Partner with traders and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
5. Enhance system stability, scalability, and resilience for 24x7 trading
6. Implement observability, resolve incidents, and address root causes
7. Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and mentor junior developers
8. Collaborate with global teams on end-to-end feature delivery

What Is Being Looked For

1. Solid STEM background with strong problem-solving skills
2. 5+ years of Java backend experience in front-office or trading environments
3. Deep expertise in Core Java, multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization
4. Experience with low-latency trading applications and market data feeds
5. Strong understanding of trading system architecture (OMS, EMS, exchange connectivity)
6. Proficiency in Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices
7. Strong SQL and data modeling skills
8. Linux experience and familiarity with performance profiling tools
9. Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with traders
10. Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
11. A proactive, problem-solving mindset

1. Experience in crypto, DeFi, or digital assets
2. Knowledge of structured products, derivatives, or market making
3. Familiarity with FIX protocol
