Senior KDB Developer - FX eTrading Analytics

Role Overview:
You will join the Global FX eTrading MI and Analytics team, responsible for developing and enhancing a platform that handles vast quantities of market and trading data. Working closely with quants, traders, and technical teams, your work will support data analysis, quantitative research, and regulatory reporting initiatives essential for the organisation’s trading operations.

Key Skills & Experience:
• Strong knowledge of q language structures and performance coding
• Experience in KDB database development and tick architecture
• Demonstrable problem-solving skills with market and trade data familiarity
• Familiarity with API development and scalable analytics solutions
• Experience in test-driven or behaviour-driven development methodologies
• Ability to analyze and query large datasets efficiently
• Previous exposure to build automation, deployment, and SDLC processes
• Knowledge of a second programming language (OO or functional) is highly valued

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop key components of the FX MI and Analytics platform
• Collaborate with quants and electronic trading teams to implement fit-for-purpose solutions
• Design and architect tick data feeds, access, and scalable analytics modules
• Implement API-based functionalities to enhance system capabilities
• Contribute to the expansion of common tools, components, and APIs
• Automate metrics, build processes, and testing routines to improve efficiency

Requirements:
• Right to work in the specified location or eligibility to work within Asia Contract arrangements
• Proven experience with KDB and q language in a financial industry context
• On-site availability at the Krakow HQ
• 12 months commitment starting from 05/06/2026
• Prior experience in FX or electronic trading environments is advantageous
