Plan, direct, coordinate, and control the day-to-day operations of the Section/Team, ensuring timely and accurate reports/returns are submitted to regulators and other relevant parties
Oversee daily transaction processing and ensure all required controls are accurately performed in line with the Bank's procedures and compliance requirements
Ensure project implementation costs remain within the approved budget
Provide high-quality support to business partners
Handle external and internal customer complaints and drive timely resolution
Support the supervisor with general treasury settlement-related matters
Coordinate with external/internal parties to meet operational needs
Participate in system/project testing and related activities
Proactively plan for projects/initiatives, identify potential risks, and monitor risk exposures
Communicate with users, IT, and other stakeholders throughout project implementation
Monitor project status and ensure progress aligns with timelines and objectives
Closely monitor data maintenance activities in the Treasury Operations system
Support the Section in streamlining workflows and improving operational efficiency
Manage and lead subordinates to ensure work meets required Bank standards; conduct performance appraisals
Strengthen team engagement and communication through regular team discussions, "listenup" sessions, and cross-product training within and across teams
Ensure strict compliance with applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines, and Bank standards; perform duties with high integrity
Adhere to established risk control guidelines and procedures to identify, assess, report, mitigate, and monitor risks in daily operations
Actively assist in and participate in ad-hoc departmental/Bank projects as required
Ensure procedure manuals and business contingency plans for supported products are up to date and aligned with Bank policies/guidelines
Ensure procedure manuals for new products are prepared and available within a reasonable timeframe after product launch
Candidate profile:
Degree holder (preferably in Economics, Finance), or equivalent professional qualifications; Full Membership of the Treasury Markets Association is an advantage
Over 5 years of banking experience, including:
At least 3 years in a managerial role within Treasury Operations
Solid knowledge of treasury products and their operational processes, with the ability to lead a team to deliver excellent service
Strong understanding of Bank and regulatory policies, procedures, practices, and rules
Strong technical knowledge of the Bank's products, services, and systems
